SALES & MORTGAGE VOLUME CONTINUE TO RISE!

REPORT OF BARNSTABLE COUNTY REAL ESTATE ACTIVITY
FOR THE MONTH OF JANUARY 2021
Barnstable County Register of Deeds, John F. Meade, reports that the volume of real estate sales in January 2021 was up 15.5% from January 2020 volume and the total value of sales was up 62.9% from the previous year. The median individual property sale value was up 17.3% from the previous year. There was a 70% increase in the volume of mortgage activity from January 2020 levels.
Year to Date: Volume of Sales is up 15.5%; Total Value of Sales is up 62.9%; Individual Sales Value is up 17.3%; Mortgage Volume is up 70%.
